Saudi Arabia ranks first in the Arab world for billionaire wealth in 2025, with 12 billionaires holding a combined net worth of $44.7 billion as of September 16, 2025. This represents 36.6 percent of the total billionaire wealth across the region. Although this figure reflects a decline of $7.7 billion from the March 7 valuations used in Forbes’ World’s Billionaires list, the kingdom remains firmly at the top. The achievement comes as Saudi Arabia marks its National Day on Tuesday.
Across the Arab world, a total of 36 billionaires now control a combined wealth of $122.1 billion, based on Forbes real time data.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Alsaud continues to be the richest individual in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, with an estimated net worth of $15.4 billion. This is down $1.1 billion compared to March 7, 2025. He is followed by Sulaiman Al Habib, whose net worth stands at $9.6 billion.
Saudi Arabia’s billionaires returned to the Forbes World’s Billionaires list in 2025 after being absent since 2018. Their reappearance is largely attributed to a wave of new listings on the Saudi stock exchange, which improved transparency and led to more accurate valuations of personal wealth.
As of September 16, 2025, three individuals Ammar Soliman Fakeeh, Mazen Soliman Fakeeh, and Waleed bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim were no longer included in the real time rankings, bringing the total number of Saudi billionaires to 12. By comparison, 15 Saudis appeared on the annual list earlier this year, up from 10 in 2017.
